Nikolay Saprunov, Director General of Crimea development Corporation, held a meeting with the management and partners of the Association of Industrial Parks (AIP) at a traditional festival Oktoberfest, which was held in Moscow, at the German Embassy in Russia. The event was organized by the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce (CC).
"The Association of Industrial Parks collaborates actively with European companies, and the German business community in particular. For us, it is another channel for communication with overseas partners. That's why, we were glad to accept AIP's invitation and take part in this informal event," noted Nikolay Saprunov.
According to him, Crimea Development Corporation will become a permanent member of AIP in the short term. This will allow quick attraction of residents to Bakhchysarai and Feodosia industrial parks when their construction is completed. Besides, the available experience of AIP's members will help develop quality resident policy and ensure reasonable management of the parks.
During the visit, Nikolay Saprunov also held meetings with the representatives of the German business community and Russian-German Chamber of Commerce.
"The Russian-German Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest business associations comprising more than 800 companies. Following the meeting results, I can say that the German business community definitely takes interest in Crimea and is looking for opportunities to enter the region. As the saying goes, water breaks down a mountain. And we need to exert counter efforts to find mutually beneficial solutions," drew a conclusion the Corporation head.
