Nikolay Saprunov, Director General of Crimea Development Corporation, told the Association's representatives about benefits and preferences in force in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, and presented available investment sites.
"During negotiations we discussed the projects on alternative energy sources, desalination, and industrial waste treatment. With regard to location, the investors are interested in the industrial part of the region – Armyansk, Krasnoperekopsk," told Nikolay Saprunov.
According to him, German business is interested in creation of large industrial complexes with various production facilities and a residential sector for workers.
German representatives take an active part in establishment of business and diplomatic relationship with the Republic of Crimea. This year the German delegation has visited the Republic of Crimea to take part in the Yalta International Economic Forum; certain business representatives and the Bundestag deputies held negotiations with the Crimean delegation at St Petersburg International Economic Forum as well. In addition to business cooperation, European colleagues want to develop public diplomacy to facilitate reduction of the sanctions effect.
